A daily tiling puzzle. The white cells have been cut into tetronimoes — four cell pieces — and your job is to work out where every piece is.
Cut the board up by clicking the lines between cells, and click a line again to join the cells back together. Every white cell belongs to exactly one piece, and only the shapes listed below were used. Pieces may be turned and mirrored freely, so a shape and its mirror image count as the same one. A cut says the two cells either side of it are in different pieces, so a piece with a cut inside it is not finished, even where the cells could still be walked around it.
Between some cells there is a mark, and every mark falls on a join between two pieces. × means the two pieces either side are different shapes. = means they are two different pieces of the same shape.
Some cells are hatched. No single piece may cover more than one hatched cell.
There is exactly one answer, and it can always be reached by reasoning: every board is built so that a solver who never guesses can finish it. Hint draws one cut for you.
Cut out one of today's shapes and it fills with that shape's colour, so the two are told apart at a glance. Anything still white is not a piece yet. Each mark keeps score of itself: grey while there is not enough drawn around it to tell, green once it is satisfied, and red once you have broken it. Hatched cells that end up sharing a piece turn red hatched.
